Armed Forces Apprentice Mechanic

    Friday December 12, 2008

If you are looking for an apprenticeship that will guarantee you a job after you have finished, then it may be worth considering becoming an armed forces apprentice mechanic. Don't be fooled by the fact that you will be working with military equipment - an apprenticeship as an armed forces apprentice mechanic gives you qualifications for a career beyond the armed forces. While you will need to continue serving for several years after you have finished training, once you leave the armed forces you will have qualifications you can use in a civilian career.

One of the biggest benefits of being an armed forces apprentice mechanic is that you can rely on being able to stay with them. Being an apprentice for a business can sometimes lead to long years of bouncing from shop to shop as different employers decide they can't afford to keep an apprentice on any longer, or from businesses shutting down. In the armed forces, you know you have job security.
